Houston Refinery Explosion Will Endanger Local Communities

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell was trying to make his show all about Trump's obvious personality disorders as revelealed in his Texas visit and Nicholas Kristoff of the New York Times said, well, we really need to look at the bigger story which is climate change, and Kristoff explained the issue in some detail. As soon as Kristoff finished, O'Donnell returned to beating the drum against Trump for his inability to express compassion on his Texas trip. It was as if he hadn't heard a word Kristoff had said.
Makes me wonder. Wouldn't Trump be an even freakier monster if he were full of compassionate expression and still pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Agreement, destroyed the EPA, etc.? I thought Trump was going to get good publicity out of Harvey because the media had made it seem that any improvement over W's performance in Katrina would demonstrate a functional and well-oiled administration that knows how to get things done. So low was the bar, that Trump could barely miss. But he did. The buffoon surrounded himself with toadies and engaged in a stage performance oddly reminiscent of "Heckuva job, Brownie!"
Chris Hayes is perhaps the only MSNBC anchor who displays a serious understanding of what is going on in the world and doesn't ooh and ahh over bright shiny objects. Thank heavens for Democracy Now and The Real News and Russell Brand's interviews.

Really? I've given up on Amy Goodman after her coverage of Syria and tacit support for the Dems. Same for MSNBC. I like The Real News and RT.

But, anyway, you're right about Trump's trip. He just keeps tripping over his ginormous ego.
